Hebrew Literature

At the 2006 AJL Convention there was a very interesting session on promoting Hebrew literature, led by Sara Ravid.

We didn't have answers, but interesting questions were raised.

Many of the day schools present use the NETA program, and are buying literature specifically for the program, but we are not seeing a lot of voluntary pleasure reading of Hebrew, except from Israeli students.

Sara has attached a copy of her presentation, including notes from the session.

What additional ideas do we have for what we can do to make Hebrew literature more appealing? Any booklists or collection development sources to share?
